Elliot's final conducting recital at the University of Birmingham was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020.

Unable to physically sing together in a final farewell as friends,  a small number decided to create this special virtual project involving singers from the University of Birmingham, past and present. The result, which was musically directed by Elliot, was a resounding success. The project also featured the efforts of the world renowned Paul Whitaker, whose signing enhanced the emotional impetus of the project and broadened its accessibilty. This mammoth effort was led by fellow Birmingham graduates, including Lydia Skrentny, James David and video & audio editor extraordinaire, Robert Sotillo.

The performance is set in a digital recreation of the Elgar Concert Hall of Birmingham's Bramall Music Building and Elaine Hagenberg's "A Farewell" is the piece that would have ended Elliot's final recital.
