A Farewell - Elaine Hagenberg, 2020

Elliot's final University of Birmingham conducting recital was cancelled due to the 2020 Pandemic. Unable to physically sing together for the last time,  a small number decided to create this virtual project involving singers from the university past and present. The result, musically directed by Elliot and in collaboration with fellow students Lydia Skrentny, James David and Robert Sotillo, was a resounding success. The project also featured the efforts of renowned sign language interpreter, Paul Whitaker.

The performance is set in a digital recreation of the university's Elgar Concert Hall and Elaine Hagenberg's "A Farewell" is the piece that would have concluded Elliot's final recital.
